Emergency Nursing and Triage

Course introduces triage systems, primary and secondary surveys, trauma assessment and time sensitive interventions.  Topics include airway management, hemorrhage control, shock recognition and emergency pharmacology.  Emphasis on rapid prioritization, structured communication, and safe transfer to definitive care.

Emergency nursing skills enable rapid stabilization and appropriate disposition.  Rapid assessment and stabilization techniques for emergency care.  Practice triage scenarios, master primary survey steps, and participate in trauma simulations.
